AI Co-Design Experience
This is a team-based project to design and implement a course centered on AI and Technology-Enhanced Learning Design. This experience embodies the collaborative essence vital in corporate instructional design projects, where cross-functional teamwork is essential for innovation and effective learning solutions.
Our approach began with refining our focus collaboratively, then setting clear, observable learning objectives. Developing the core learning activity required us to harness diverse skills and perspectives, ensuring the learning experience was comprehensive and applicable. This document outlines our strategic planning, emphasizing co-design principles, collaborative effort, and iterative feedback, showcasing how these elements are crucial in both academic and corporate environments to create impactful learning experiences.
The final Product: Talking With Robots
The final product of the co-design project, “Talking with Robots,” is a comprehensive exploration of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into instructional design to enhance learning experiences. This document outlines the key benefits of AI in education, such as efficiency, personalization, and insightful data analysis. It details the CREATE model for writing AI prompts, emphasizing character, request, examples, adjustments, type of output, and extras to guide instructional designers in creating effective AI-driven learning materials. Additionally, it includes testimonials from novices to experienced designers on leveraging AI tools for content creation, analysis, and engagement. This artifact demonstrates the practical application of AI in developing adaptive, inclusive, and impactful educational materials, serving as a testament to the collaborative and innovative approach necessary in the evolving field of instructional design.
I love the way your group organized your data and brought in visual elements. I found this very informative and helpful.

I was so excited to read about your project. I personally find AI! intriguing and intimidating at the same time. The artifact you developed is very approachable and novice friendly. I made an immediate assumption that of the domains that you outlined—content creation tools, data analysis, and adaptive learning platforms that data analysis would be my preference for potentially launching into experimenting with AI. However, after reading the pdf I can see leveraging any of the areas and how it could be beneficial.

The information you provided will definitely be super helpful for many people who don’t know the potential that AI has to help them. Personally, I know it will help me a lot considering I have little experience with using AI.
